Bad news Grimmsters. According to, it has been officially announced that Grimm is being cancelled after the end of the upcoming sixth season.

But wait, there is more. The sixth season is also not set to premiere until January! So now we have to wait even longer than usual to get our fix for all things Grimm and the world of Wesen.

But wait, there is even more bad news. I know you are saying to yourself, come on, what else could there be? How about the fact that the final season of Grimm will only have 13 episodes? Continuing the trend that any time there is a final season for a series, they always end up making it shorter than usual. Which is a major bummer.

Even before the fifth season ended, there was rumblings that the next season of Grimm would be its last and it would be a shortened season. However, we were all hoping it was not true. This was a very good show, with great characters, even better story lines, and a fascinating mythology. It is very sad that this series will be ending. At least we can be happy it is getting a chance to end things right.

When we last left Nick and his gang, they had defeated a group of Wesen extremists. In the new season, they are dealing with the aftermath of that and Nick must take a stand to not only protect the city, but those closest to him as well.

Things should be very interesting when Grimm returns on NBC January 6th at 8pm/7pm Central.
