Last night, the season 3 of Rick and Morty premiered with episode 2 titled Rickmancing the Stone and it did not disappoint. It featured a Mad Max theme and even brought Summer along for the adventure. The kids are coping with their parent’s divorce and it’s turning Summer into something else, and Rick’s not at all concerned. This season has already started out strong and I’m pumped for what’s to come. *cough* pickle rick *cough*
Episode one, The Rickshank Redemption, came out as an April Fools’ treat this past April and sparked a frenzie over the 1998 promotional szechuan sauce from McDonald’s that is actually being brought back. This news excites me mostly because Rick and Morty is making stuff happen in the world and that’s inspiring.
It seems Rick and Morty is gaining well deserved popularity and so we jumped at the opportunity to speak with the creators about possible movie ideas and going too far for tv. Check out the full interview below before next week’s episode airs Sunday at 11:30PM on Adult Swim.
