Tokyo Ghoul Live Action Movie Hollywood Premiere

Presented by Funimation

Funimation hosted the Hollywood Premiere for the live action remake of Tokyo Ghoul at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre and it was a memorable event for fans of the series.

Right at the entrance of the theater, Funimation offered a Photo Op for the movie with some Ken Kaneki cosplayers. You can scope out more of these awesome photos on social media using #TokyoGhoulMovie.

Here are some photos of the awesome Tokyo Ghoul cosplayers spotted at the event.

Justin Rojas, host for Funimation, kicked off the premiere with an awesome giveaway from McFarlane Toys of an interchangeable Ken Kaneki figure, with the winner being only a few seats away from me (darn). The figure is available now and you can pick up your own off amazon for about $20.

Following the movie, Funimation started the after party with a haunted horror maze where you encounter a couple of crazed Kanekis hungry for your flesh. The maze ended in a fun enclosed dance area with it’s own personal DJ.

Funimation provided guests with some tasty “meats” following the theme of Tokyo Ghoul (meatballs and stuffed mushrooms).

And of course it wouldn’t be a Funimation event without some awesome freebies! They provided guests with some masks and posters as well as Tshirts printed by Hot Topic. Thanks Funimation for putting on the perfect event to celebrate the Tokyo Ghoul live action movie!

Tokyo Ghoul is coming to select US theaters October 16-22, you can find a theater near you through Funimation’s website here. Stay tuned to for my upcoming review of the movie.
