One the first theories from Man Of Steel was that during the oil rig explosion at the beginning of the film, Clark Kent was saved by Aquaman. When Clark was thrown into the ocean after the rig exploded we saw a whale swim over him. Many thought this theory would hint at a larger DC Cinematic Universe. Now you can stop wondering. That whale was indeed sent by the King of Atlantis himself, Aquaman!

Thanks to Jason Momoa, we finally have a confirmation. When speaking with DC All Access about easter eggs that would show up in Justice League, Momoa revealed an earlier conversation that took place with him and Zack Snyder. Here’s what he had to say:

“I’ll give you a cool little thing that’s not in this movie – what Zack [Snyder] kind of told me for his idea when he was doing – for Aquaman. In Man of Steel, when Henry’s saving – he’s on the oil rig, holding it up and all of a sudden he’s in the ocean and floats in the ocean ‘I had Aquaman save him.’ So they did cross paths at one point.”

It looks like the King of Atlantis has run into the Man of Steel before Justice League. We can’t wait to see these two on screen together this weekend in Justice League. What do you guys think? Leave a message in the comments below.
