Two days ago 2 images appeared featuring the cast of the upcoming Han Solo stand-alone film and they were described as “official leaked Han Solo art”. Not wasting any time, star wars fanatics everywhere debated if they were indeed real or fake. The majority of the fanatics concluded they are both fakes.

As you can see from the images below one does include Russian writing so you can take it with a grain of salt. But later it was revealed that the images were from a Russian merchandising site. (Usually, I would link the site but I doubt you’d want to be hacked, you’re welcome)

As of now Disney and Lucasfilm have both told  ThePlaylist that the “artwork” is indeed not real. “Lucasfilm and Disney have informed ScreenRant that the artwork isn’t official,” Playlist writes.

I’m actually glad this isn’t the real deal. Although images have leaked of the falcon with a  blue stripe in the back, Donald Glover just doesn’t look right to me. Here’s hoping we get something official soon since the film is under 150 days away from release.

Alden Ehrenreich is playing young Han Solo, Donald Glover is young Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke‘s character Kira remains a mystery at this time, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Woody Harrelson as Beckett, and several other special rumored “appearances”.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is due to hit theaters in May of 2018.
