With only a month until the release Ready Player One, promoting for the film will be ramping up for the Steven Spielberg blockbuster.

When I first read the book by Ernest Cline, it quickly became my favorite book in the last 10 years hands down. And when it was revealed that Spielberg had signed on to direct I couldn’t have imagined another director taking on the film.

The book is basically all of Spielberg’s 80’s films in book form.

If you grew up in the 80’s then you know every Spielberg film had a beautiful poster attached to it, always drawn by the masterful artist Drew Struzan. From all the Indiana Jones films, The Goonies, and the Back To The Future trilogy, Struzan and Spielberg were a perfect match.

Earlier today Warner Bothers released the latest poster for the film, and damn its pure 80’s Struzan gold. It’s absolutely perfect for this film.

The poster itself features a ton of pop culture references. From the Iron Giant, the DeLorean from Back To The Future to even Big Foot.

Let us know what you think of this beauty below!

“Ready Player One” stars Tye Sheridan (“X-Men: Apocalypse,” “Mud”), Olivia Cooke (“Me and Earl and the Dying Girl,” “Bates Motel”), Ben Mendelsohn (“Rogue One – A Star Wars Story,” “Bloodline”) and T.J. Miller (“Deadpool,” “Silicon Valley”), with Simon Pegg (the “Star Trek” movies, the “Mission: Impossible” movies) and Oscar winner Mark Rylance (“Bridge of Spies,” upcoming “Dunkirk”).

The films opens March 29, 2018.
