If you were one of the few Star Wars fans that loved The Last Jedi as much as I did then you are absolutely ecstatic for the upcoming standalone Solo: A STAR WARS STORY.

Yes, The Last Jedi received a ton of fan backlash, but it also received a TON of critical praise, enough so that it’s been nominated for a couple Academy Awards.

Director Rian Johnson has already been tapped to direct and create the next trilogy so with that he’ll be involved with the next few films in some way.

Recently, ComicBook.com interviewed Johnson while on the red carpet for the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards and he was asked what he thought of the recent Solo trailer that was released during Super Bowl Weekend.

Johnson said: “I knew it was coming, but I was still…I was clicking, clicking, clicking, ‘yeah, yeah!’ And I think it looks so beautiful.

“I can’t wait for people to see more of the film – it’s so fun, it’s so funny.

“The cast is so charismatic, and I think they all just did a great job with it.”

I don’t know about you but it sounds like Johnson has already seen the film or at least some cut of Solo.

It’s good to know he loves it and thinks the film is hilarious. I can’t wait to see it!
