Emmy-nominated actress Carrie Coon( Fargo) has been confirmed as the voice of Proxima Midnight in Avengers: Infinity War. The confirmation comes from the film’s co-director, Joe Russo, as the press tour leading up to the April 23rd world premiere continues. Coon joins actors Tom Vaughan-Lawlor and Terry Notary in voicing the children of Thanos, known in the comics as the Black Order.Vaughan-Lawlor and Notary were previously confirmed to have done the motion-capture work for their characters (Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian, respectively) and were also confirmed by Russo as the voice actors during an interview with Radio Times. Coon’s Proxima Midnight has been seen several times in the promotional materials for the film and will find herself, and her companion Corvus Glaive, up against Steve Rogers, Black Widow and the Falcon when their mission to retrieve the Mind Stone from Vision is interrupted by Rogers’ Secret Avengers.

With the confirmation of the 3 actors, only the voice of Corvus Glaive remains unknown. Speculation has run wild on forums and social media with names such as Peter Dinklage and Mark Hamill among the favorite fan casts. While Dinklage is confirmed to be in the film, there’s been nothing to officially link him to the role.With just 7 days until the premiere, we won’t have to wait much longer to find out.
