After months and months of waiting, we finally have a release date for the first official trailer for DC’s “Aquaman,” but we’re going to have to wait a little longer for it to be released.

Director James Wan posted this on Twitter:

And and it looks like the trailer won’t be released in the next week.

This does make sense in so many ways. First, Marvel and HBO aren’t going to be doing Hall this year at Comic-Con, son the door is going to be wide open for Aquaman to soak up every ounce of attention. And this is also the first film under DC’s new leadership. Walter Hamada is going to want to star off his tenure with a bang, so this SDCC trailer for the film will be the perfect thing to start off with.
