With 2018 coming to an end in just a few short months, Disney is going to have their hands full in the coming year with the rest of their 2019 film slate, as well as the upcoming streaming service launch – currently being called Disney Play.
Disney Play will launch sometime next year, and Disney CEO Bob Iger has said that the streaming service will be, “the biggest priority of the company during 2019.”
We know that the upcoming Live-Action Lady and the Tramp film is going onto the service, as well as the brand new High School Musical tv series, Monsters Inc show, Star Wars spin-offs, Magic Camp, 101 Dalmatian Street, and even The Muppets so it seems, if you are a fan of Disney and all their film and television offerings, Disney Play is where it’s at!
However, there is no official price point as of yet, but rumor has it that Disney Play will cost around $25 a month, and will also include a Hulu subscription as well.
Personally, I’m excited about the streaming service, but I am going to wait to see what other content gets announced for it before I make any real subscription decisions.
What about you guys? Will you be jumping on the Disney Play train? Does the promise of Hulu sweeten the deal or are you over all the different streaming services? Let me know in the comments below.
