For a long time now, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been asking for more adventures featuring the heroic women of the Marvel world. That became especially true with the arrival of Captain Marvel earlier this year. It became an even bigger dream in Avengers: Endgame during the final battle against Thanos. Carol Danvers along with her fellow superheroines came together to stop the mad villain.

Marvel Studios are well aware of how much fans want to see a female team film from the MCU, like A-Force. With so many inspiring women existing in the large cinematic universe that Marvel has created, a franchise with them is just waiting to happen.

In a recent interview with Comic Book Movie, the directors of Captain Marvel spoke on the subject. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, chatted about the success of the Carol Danvers installment and more. Throughout the interview, they were asked if they’d ever be down for helming an A-Force type of film with the female heroes. This is what they had to say about it:

“Are you offering us a job? [Laughs] I think we’re fans of all these characters just like everyone else and we’re just as excited to see what the potential is for all of them moving forward.”

Of course, plans for Phase 4 have yet to be revealed. Still, we know we’ll get team films again down the line with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and The Eternals. It wouldn’t be out of the question if perhaps A-Force becomes one of those team films in the future.
