With San Diego Comic-Con coming up Hasbro has decided to team up with Razor releasing their brand new collaboration: A Green Ranger Scooter!
Rolling like a Ranger
You can see this is the classic Razor A-Kick Scooter circa 2000 that launched the brand. It now decked out in a stunning green ranger motif. I will say this is nice that it is inspired by Tommy’s original costume and not an overly embellished design.
Green Ranger Scooter: Function Over Fan Service
Like we said it’s a classic scooter design. The choice to keep it simple and not overdo it buy trying to add the Dragon Shield or the Dragon Dagger. Instead, the design team put the gold in the fine details like the hardware and the telescopic handle. The Dragon Power coin has a minimalist aesthetic down by the front wheel. and the deck itself took inspiration from a not so likely source of the rangers costume: THE BOOT! yes, the boot not the glove but the simple design of the boot. This Scooter is obviously going to be a collector’s piece that ranger fans will cue up for hours to purchase the $79.99 at the Hasbro Booth #3329. You can even tell on the box art they took a page from Bandai’s previous Legacy collection using the black and gold box art. But fear not Ranger fans if you can’t get out to San Diego, Razor will have a limited supply available online after the convention.
