We have our first look at the new season of The Walking Dead. This will be a landmark season as we roll into the 10th serving of the zombie series. AMC released in a statement “This extraordinary comic created a world that already lives in multiple forms, and in the hearts and minds of millions of fans around the world, and will for many years to come. The comic series ending is not expected to impact the TV series.”
Farewell Michonne
It was also announced that this next season will be Danai Gurira’s last as the sword wielding Michonne. She will only appear in a few of the tenth season’s episodes.
“I can confirm that this is the last season I will be on this amazing TV show as Michonne,” Gurira told the Comic-Con audience. “I would just like to say that this has been one of the purest joys of my life to play this role and to be amongst these people and those who are not here right now and amongst all of you. I’m very thankful for the experience I’ve had in ways I can’t state right now. My heart does not leave in any way, shape or form. The TWD family is forever. The connection between us never ends.”

Also, by surprise we now have a super, super tease of The Walking Dead Movie. Doesn’t show much but it shows what is most likely Ricks helicopter he left on. The movie will be released by AMC, Skybound and Universal Pictures.
