Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker hits theaters in four months. So far, we’ve seen only one trailer released, and haven’t received much information *official* about the film beyond that. Still, from what we have seen, the film looks like it will be amazing with JJ Abrams at the helm. We also know that The Rise of Skywalker reshoots have been ongoing for a few weeks now. That fact has concerned fans because they thought the reshoots were going to be expansive. But, since producers were editing the film on the set, that has calmed the fans down.

And now, there are some images that have been leaked showing that the reshoots are probably over, if not nearly complete.

🚨EXCLUSIVE🚨: Jungle set reshoots are over for ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ As you know for over a month I’ve been putting out regular updates regarding ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ reshoots at Black Park, England. The main focus was the first area which has been fenced off for over a month. This is the area they used for the jungle planet last year where both the Millennium Falcon and the Orange X-Wing were seen. In my last update on the area last week, I told you that there was a lot of work being done at the set with it being dressed for shooting. It seems that now the work there has wrapped. I got word that filming happened Friday last week (maybe Saturday too but it’s unclear at this time). I don’t know who, if any actors were involved in filming but John Boyega was back in London last week and Oscar Isaac has been spotted with Poe length hair and near clean shaven, both actors took part in jungle filming last year. As you can see from the pictures, all the fences and set dressing have been removed with the ground being restored…it was as if they were never there. The reshoots aren’t over yet. There’s set to be a two day shoot at the lake area in Black Park sometime in August. The lake area was used late last year and earlier this year for the swamp and snow locations in Episode IX. I remember when I first revealed that reshoots were set to take place from July until September at Black Park people freaked out that it was extensive. All together it seems the reshoots are 4 days worth max at Black Park. So not extensive at all…situation normal. If I have any updates, I’ll be sure to let you know.

Now, these images do make it seem like these Rise of Skywalker reshoots are either almost over or reshoots are completely over. It is hard to tell, but since they were shooting at Black Park, there is probably another film needing to shoot there, so they are trying to finish up quick.

We still don’t know a ton about the last film in the Skywalker Saga. Notwtithstanding, as far as we know, this will definitely end the 40-year telling of the Skywalkers and their effect on the galaxy. And Lucasfilm is saying that the film will be amazing. Here’s hoping they’re right.
