Hasbro Pulse has just announced that they’ll be beginning preorders for a new addition to their Star Wars Black Series: the Ahsoka Tano Force FX Elite lightsaber.

Now with Ahsoka Tano’s face plastered on the box.

There’s currently no description of the exact size of Ahsoka Tano’s lightsaber model. However, judging from the pictures, it looks to be a 1:1 scale model of said lightsaber.

May or may not include stand.

There’s no information on whether the lightsaber is made of metal, or is just plastic made up to look like it. But from here, it certainly looks like metal. The lightsaber is also richly detailed. In fact, it appears to be exactly the same as the larger one used by Ahsoka Tano in the animated series.

It’d be nice if they do include a stand though.
Even closer.
Ack, too close!
Now at a different angle.
The stand-less position executed perfectly.

The real thing is the one on the bottom.

As you can see from the above pictures, Ahsoka Tano’s lightsaber blade is removable either for cleaning or decorating purposes. Not just that, but the blue khyber crystal in the lightsaber’s hilt is removable as well.

Some disassembly required.

And interestingly enough, you can still turn on the lightsaber even without the khyber crystal part installed. Although if you do, you get a bland, colorless lightsaber when you turn it on instead of the brilliant blue one.

A boring and bland lightsaber.
Hmm, looks like the work of an evil corporation that wants to steal all the colors away.

Unfortunately, there’s still no word as to what Ahsoka Tano’s lightsaber will cost. All the Facebook page gives is a preorder date of September 25 at 5:00 P.M. Eastern Time. Tune in later once we have more news.

Conclusion

Hasbro Pulse will make Ahsoka Tano Force FX Elite lightsaber be available for preorder today on September 25 at the time of this writing, as part of their Star Wars Black Series. Stay tuned for more news.
