Season 2 of The Mandalorian has been a smashing success, and Disney doesn’t plan to let the hype for the new hit show die down. With four more episodes of the series to go until it once again goes on hiatus, Disney plans to make sure there is plenty of Mandalorian content for its fans. So much so, that Disney Australia announced today Season 2 of ‘Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian’ is on its way.

For those not familiar: Disney Gallery is a series that shows the behind the scenes of various productions. Fans can see how they go from the scripted page to finished product. The first season, featuring The Mandalorian, was an overwhelming success.

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian

Disney Gallery

The first season of Disney Galley: The Mandalorian was an eight episode series. Each episode discussed and pulled the curtain back to reveal how each episode of the show was made. The concept included various interviews with the cast and crew of The Mandalorian. We also got to see behind the scenes footage and looks at the props and effects used to make the show. Likewise, we got as roundtables with the show creator Dave Filoni.

So far we have no real details about who we will see in the roundtables and how they will proceed for Season 2. Season 1 of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian was clearly filmed before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Season 2 could have to go through dramatic changes to abide by new social distancing guidelines in place now.

Roundtable from Season 1 of disney Gallery

The first episode of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian Season 2 will drop this Christmas, one week after the end of The Mandalorian Season 2. (That finishes on December 18th.) The first season released weekly so it’s likely that the second season will do so as well. Thus Disney and Lucasfilm will continue to serve us small meals while keeping fans hungry for more Mandalorian content.
