Dark Horse Comics has revealed the next title in the Critical Role Mighty Nein Origins series, and the release date and synopsis for Issue #2 of The Tales Of Exandria.

So starting with the graphic novel series, the 3rd book will be releasing on September 15th, and is delving into Ashley Johnson’s character Yasha. Now, up until where the live stream is, we’ve only found out bits and pieces about Yasha’s troubled backstory.

But we are finally going to get to both see and read about what happened.

Book Synopsis

For Yasha, there has always been a storm on the horizon.

Maybe it formed with her adoption by the Dolorov people in the harsh lands of Xhorhas. Or perhaps when she fell for her first love, Zuala. Or still later, when grief and madness drove her from her village and out into––somewhere else. Maybe, on the other hand, Yasha IS the storm.

We did also get the cover revealed as well, which artist William Kirkby did a phenomenal job with.

And Dark Horse also moved the release dates for the first 2 graphic novels. So now the Jester book is releasing on August 25th. Meanwhile, 2 weeks before on August 11th, Caleb’s graphic novel is releasing first.

As for the new Tales Of Exandria comic series, Dark Horse revealed both the release date and the synopsis for Issue #2. The second issue is going to be revolving around the Bright Queen’s right hand and lover, and this one sounds very interesting.

Comic Synopsis

Quana, who is Leylas Kryn’s right hand and the love of her many lives, is in the clutches of the dreaded Spider Queen. Leylas seeks information from one of the gnomes who sprung the trap, and makes plans to rescue both Quana and the piece of the Luxon in the Spider Queen’s possession. But with an adversary as old and clever as this one, there’s no telling whether Leylas might be playing right into her subtle hands. Critical Role Game Master Matthew Mercer joins Eisner Award-winning writer Darcy van Poelgeest (LittleBird) and fan-favorite artist CoupleofKooks in this new Critical Role series Tales of Exandria!
