At long last as a classic staple for the Disneyland Hotel is set to reopen up on July 2nd! The phased reopening will be with limited capacity to book your next magical stay at the Disneyland Resort.

What’s New?

For those who are wanting to stay, the Fantasy Tower will be the first of the towers to reopen up. During the closure, the upholstery and fabrics throughout the guest rooms, lobbies and meeting rooms were refreshed and updated. Guest rooms now feature a fun new fireworks pattern in the carpet and upgraded platform beds to help maximize storage. The corridor flooring features new patterns inspired by the art of Mary Blair with graphic elements recalling the park lands each of the towers are named for.

Still Feels Like Home

Guests can stroll around the hotels grounds, take a cool ride down the Monorail waterslides. Swim in themed pools, take a dip in either of the Mickey and Minnie spa whirlpools, relax in a cabana or at the pool bar, or get even more steps in at the fitness center.

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar will reopen up with the hotel along with the Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill and the Coffee House.

Know Before You Go

Guests ages 3 and up will need both a valid ticket and theme park reservation for the same day and same park to enter the park they want to visit. Theme park reservations are booked online in advance, and they’re limited and subject to availability.

Also for your hotel, a confirmation number is needed to view the latest reservation availability for theme parks. Be sure to have a valid ticket to book your theme park reservation!

As a refresher: A hotel reservation “does not guarantee theme park access”, and you’ll need to link your park tickets to a Disney account to make a separate theme park reservation.

The Disneyland Hotel will be joining Paradise Pier Hotel’s reopening up on June 15th, and Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa reopened up on April 29th.
