Where did all the PSAs go? We used to have tons of them telling us not to talk to strangers, stay away from downed power lines, and more. Well, seeing as this is a G.I. Joe film, we’ve got one for the upcoming Snake Eyes film. This isn’t your normal PSA though, it’s part telling you to stay away from power lines, and that Henry Golding is a badass. And boy, stop motion animated Henry Golding is definitely a badass.

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins releases in theaters later this month, July 23rd, 2021. It stars Henry Golding, Andrew Koji, Ursula Corbero, Samara Weaving, Haruka Abe, Tekehiro Hira, Peter Mensah, with Iko Uwais. This isn’t another reboot of the G.I. Joe franchise, but an origins story for Snake Eyes. The official synopsis goes like this:

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins stars Henry Golding as Snake Eyes, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honor and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him. Based on the iconic G.I. Joe character, Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins also stars Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, Úrsula Corberó as Baroness, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, Haruka Abe as Akiko, Tahehiro Hira as Kenta and Iko Uwais as Hard Master.

Another Featurette To Get You Ready For Snake Eyes

I think this one definitely shows the lengths that they went to while making this film. They have world class stunt training and the action in Snake Eyes is looking better than any Joe film we’ve had before.

Finally, before you’re all Snake Eyes‘ed out, there’s some art just for people seeing the film in IMAX.
