It’s almost time to journey from West Philly to Bel-Air. Peacock’s reimagining of The Fresh Prince arrives in February. Now, we finally have a good look at the series.

The show previously released an underwater teaser clip reminiscent of the original sitcom’s theme song. However, it didn’t really give us a look at the series itself. Today’s clip, though, shows not only newcomer Jabari Banks in action as Will, but a look at his West Coast family as well. Check out Aunt Viv, Uncle Phil, and more of the Banks family in the new trailer from Peacock:

In case you somehow haven’t heard, this new series isn’t the sitcom from the 90s. The trailer clearly shows how the show will take a more dramatic (and arguably, realistic) approach to Will’s story.

Set in modern-day America, Peacock’s new one-hour drama series Bel-Air reimagines the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air through a new, dramatic take on Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. As these two worlds collide, Will reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known.

“With this dramatic reimagining, we wanted to create a show that stands on its own while honoring the spirit and innovation of the original series,” said Morgan Cooper, EP, co-writer, and director. “Because Bel-Air is a drama, we’re able to really peel back the layers of these characters and themes in a way that you simply couldn’t do 30 years ago in the half-hour sitcom format. We’re able to go have tough conversations that challenge perspectives. At its core, Bel-Air is a celebration of the black experience through the perspective of a family.”

Bel-Air premieres on Peacock February 13.
