We are less than a month away from the very highly anticipated Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+. Fans have been waiting for this moment for a long time and some are calling for more without the first season being out. Well, for those that are wanting more, there looks to be a little good news on the horizon. Obi-Wan Kenobi actor Ewan McGregor seems to be open in return as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the future.
Will We Get More Ewan McGregor As Obi-Wan Kenobi?
Can we ever get enough, of “Hello there”? No, no we can’t and it looks like Obi-Wan actor Ewan McGregor also agrees. In an exclusive interview with Total Film, GamesRadar reported that McGregor is up for giving us more Obi-Wan Kenobi.
“If we were to get an opportunity to do it again, I’d be totally up for that,” McGregor told Total Film. He would also go on to say, “Here I go again, It’s like me knocking at Disney’s door again!”
McGregor talked about his experience in the new series, “It was nice to come back and to bridge that gap between me and Alec Guinness. I got as much, or more, out of playing him this time than I did in the first three movies put together. That’s to do with the writing, and the people we were making the series with, and the technology, and how different everything is.”
As of now, nothing has been confirmed, but what I find interesting is that Darth Vader actor Hayden Christensen said something very similar. “The extent of this journey, I think, remains to be seen,” he says. “But what a privilege to get to come back and do this, and to be a part of this project,” Christensen told Total Film. Could they both be hinting at something? Maybe we will find out at Star Wars Celebration.
