Zombies 3, the third installment of the hit franchise will stream exclusively on Disney+. The third film introduces a new group of mysterious outer space aliens to the diverse student body of zombies, cheerleaders, and werewolves at Seabrook High.

WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN IN ZOMBIES 3?

The film stars Milo Manheim as zombie Zed and Meg Donnelly as cheerleader Addison. The two are beginning their senior year at Seabrook High. During the previous films, the town has become a safe haven for monsters and humans alike.

Zed is anticipating an athletic scholarship that will make him the first zombie to attend college. At the same time, Addison is gearing up for Seabrook’s first international cheer-off. Suddenly, extraterrestrial beings arrive in Seabrook, provoking something other than friendly competition.

RuPaul Charles (“RuPaul’s Drag Race”) joins the “interstellar” cast as the voice of “The Mothership,” a comedically passive-aggressive UFO that brings the aliens to earth.

Zombies 3 also stars Chandler Kinney as Willa, Ariel Martin as Wynter, Pearce Joza as Wyatt, Carla Jeffery as Bree, Trevor Tordjman as Bucky, Kylee Russell as Eliza, Terry Hu as A-spen, Matt Cornett as A-lan, Kyra Tantao as A-li, James Godfrey as Bonzo and Kingston Foster as Zoey.

WHAT ABOUT THE MUSIC?

The Zombies 3 soundtrack will feature 8 new songs and dance numbers promising to shake things up. The songs will lean into current trends while also encompassing an “out-of-this-world” sound.

The new song “Alien Invasion” kicks things off with a sci-fi vibe and electronic track that evokes “Close Encounters,”. There will also be new songs for Zed and Addison — including the third rendition of their hit duet “Someday” in order to reflect how their characters have grown throughout the series.

Meanwhile, the werewolves pursue the Aliens in “Come On Out,” an edgy song with a suspenseful feel. You can get the digital soundtrack from Walt Disney Records on July 15.

Zombies 3 will also debut on the Disney Channel on Friday, August 12th at 8:00 pm EST/PST. After which there will be an encore performance featuring additional bonus footage, and another brand new “lost song” musical number.
