Well, it looks like the anime-style mobile RPG genre now has a new addition to it in the form of Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire. Possibly the only thing that’s making it stand out from the crowd is a collaboration with Attack on Titan on the day of its launch. You can check out the game’s launch trailer below:

Seraph of the Nottwilight: The Anime RPG?

The anime visuals look great, but the actual gameplay art leaves much to be desired.

Crunchyroll Games is proud to announce the launch of Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire. This is a new mobile RPG game with apparently lavish anime visuals that Crunchyroll Games is officially endorsing. The latter is probably the reason for the endorsement, but it is Crunchyroll, after all. Crunchyroll is probably also why, to sweeten the deal, the game has a collaboration with Attack on Titan right at launch. You can check out the rather short trailer below:

Hmm, pixel versions of Eren and co.. This could either be cute, or terrible.

This collaboration with Attack on Titan features Eren, Mikasa, and Levi as collectable characters you can earn. There are also going to be “special collaboration missions, themed dungeons, and more”. Clearly, this franchise collaboration is to try and make it appealing to Attack on Titan fans. And well, if you’re such a fan, you might be interested in giving Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire a spin.

As one last bonus to sweeten the deal though, Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire are giving away a few pre-registration bonuses to those who pre-registered for the game. It’s likely too late by now for new players to get these bonuses, but at least those who pre-registered can still get them. These bonuses consist of, in order of milestone progress:

"Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire" pre-registration rewards.
Oh, cute mushroom monster…wait, what do you mean “Exp Material”?

  • 30% – 5x Summon TIckets
  • 50% – 10x EXP Material (this monster of a creation)

  • 100% – 5-star unit

Hmm, if these are vampires, then you’d think bats would be somewhere here. But nope, only crows.

Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire is a turn-based mobile RPG card game from Crunchyroll Games. The game features a story based off the “popular” manga of the same name, of which there is no Wikipedia article, and I can only find a single chapter on MangaDex to read. Who knows? Maybe this mobile game will boost its popularity enough for it to get its own Wikipedia article at last?

As for what this game is actually about? Well, Crunchyroll has a synopsis of both the game and the story for us today. Check it out below:

Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire follows the Last Royal Vampire Lilo and her companion Ren in their quest to save their loved ones from a militaristic order called the Holy Land. Players build their own squad of warriors, heroes, and fantastical creatures to defeat exorcists, hunters, as well as vicious demons, and many powerful beings pulling the strings from the shadows. The anime-styled mobile role-playing card game features hundreds of characters and customization, allowing for a roster of heroes that is distinctly unique to each player.”

You can download and play Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire for yourself on its official website.
