The Deathstalker line has been away for a bit, with Razer working to improve various features and functions with their newest technologies. Now, the Deathstalker returns with the V2 version. It comes in three variations: Deathstalker V2 Pro, Deathstalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless, and Deathstalker V2.

This line is ideal for gamers looking to step up their performance and a clutter-free desktop set-up. The Deathstalker is sleek, has a low-profile design, and offers both linear and clicky variants of the Razer Low-profile Optical Switches for any of the models. Adding to the premium design and feel is an aluminum top plate and laser-etched keycaps with an ultra-durable coating for greater longevity.

The Deathstalker V2 Pro retails for $249.99 USD, Deathstalker V2 Pro Tenkeyless goes for $219.99 USD, and finally, the Deathstalker V2 goes for $199.99 USD. You can pick them up on Razer.com or other authorized retailers.

Here’s what Chris Mitchell, Head of the PC Gaming Division at Razer had to say:

The original DeathStalker became a fan favorite due to its innovative chiclet-style design and next-level typing feel within a sleek low-profile form factor. With the new DeathStalker V2 range, we’ve kept the low-profile aesthetic of the original keyboard, but included our latest technology innovations, such as Razer Optical Switches and Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, to give gamers a fast, feature-packed gaming keyboard experience.

New Optical Switches Give You The Customization

Long gone are the times when you couldn’t have the exact specifications for your keyboard. Now, Razer offers their Low-Profile Optical Switches in Linear and Clicky. The Linear Low-Profile Optical Switch has an actuation point of just 1.2mm with 2.8mm of total travel and an actuation force of just 45 grams. The Clicky variant actuation point is 1.5mm, with tactile feedback at the same point, and a full travel of 2.8mm from 50 grams of actuation force. These keys have been tested and graded out to an industry-leading 70 million presses. That’s 40% higher than competitors in the field.

The Deathstalker V2 also features Razer’s new Hyperspeed Wireless technology. This makes their products, including the Deathstalker V2, one of the fastest and most reliable on the market. The new Hyperspeed Wireless Dongle can be used with multiple devices too.

The battery life might be the best part of the Deathstalker V2 and V2 Pro. The Pro offers 40 hours of continuous battery life, while the V2 Pro Tenkeyless offers 50 hours.
