The State Of Decay 2 Preload Is Live And The PC Requirements And Achievement List Have Been Revealed

Xbox users can now preload their biggest exclusive of this first half of the year: State Of Decay 2. While the game doesn’t release until May 22nd, players are getting a headstart and able to get it installed so they can start playing instead of waiting for a huge file to download. And as a side effect of the preload going live, the PC requirements and the Achievement List also went live.

Now, since this game is going to be an Xbox Play Anywhere Title, the game will be featuring cross-platform playing so this way players can switch playing between their Xbox and their Windows PC. And for those they only play on one console, they will only have to buy one copy of the game if they want to play between both consoles. And this cross-functionality worked seamlessly earlier in the year when Sea Of Thieves was released.

So, as far as what you need to play State Of Decay 2 on the PC, Microsoft is recommending to have Windows 10 and Direct X version 11 installed with at least 2 GB of video memory and 8 GB of ram, although Microsoft recommends to have doubles of both. As far as the processors are concerned, Microsoft recommends either the AMD FX-8350 or i5 4570 at 3.2 GHz, although the minimum is either the AMD FX-6300 or Intel i5-2500 at 2.7GHz. And finally, for the graphics cards, Microsoft recommends the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 and AMD Radeon R9 380, but the minimum is either the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon HD 7870.

And as long as the gameplay can hold up, Microsoft will have a much-needed success in their 2018 catalog.
