#2: Asajj Ventress
Asajj is perhaps my favorite character in all of Star Wars. She starts off a slave only to be rescued and trained as a Jedi. Her master is killed and thus begins her slide to the dark side. She becomes Dooku’s apprentice wannabe until Dooku betrays her, causing her to flee. Revenge consumes her for a time until her entire home of Dathomir is destroyed. She falls in with some bounty hunters for a time. Again she is selfish because that’s what she’s been taught, but there is something ese to her. Darker impulses begin to lose their flavor. Finally you have her team up with Quinlan Vos in Dark Disciple. I wont go into detail because I highly recommend reading it. Asajj’s story from beginning to end is one of the great stories in all of Star Wars.
