#4 OLD YELLER
This could be a beaut of a story if done right. You take a kid of any species. They can befriend any number of Star Wars animals either canon or new. The bond grows and they are best friends that can go through some hardships, but the true core of the story of course comes at the end. The animal becomes rabid or sick and has to be put down. Disney owns the original. Would they have the balls to tell a story like this in today’s world?
