Today, Bandai Namco made a huge announcement: Negan from The Walking Dead is joining the roster in Tekken 7.

Yes, The Walking Dead’s most notorious character is joining the game. Bandai Namco made the announcement at EVO 2018, via Tekken 7 director Katsuhiro Harada.

Negan is going to be apart of the game’s 2nd season pass, along with Lei Wulong, Anna Williams, and 3 other characters that have yet to be named. Season 2 is also going to bring new mechanics such as a wall bounce, and it will also be making multiple balance changes.

No further details were announced, but Bandai Namco did release a blurb about the announcement, which you can read below:

“With Season 2 of the Tekken 7 Season Pass, fighters such as Anna Williams, Lei Wulong and Negan from AMC’s The Walking Dead join the fight!
