With Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge opening at Disneyland next summer, construction on the land is full steam ahead. Lately we’ve been getting more and more sneak peeks from inside the park and today we got our hands on some awesome aerial shots taken this week. In the shots we can see the amazing progress so far and there’s something very familiar there in the middle. See it? It’s the FALCON!!
It looks like construction is well ahead of schedule and you can tell where some of the attractions are going. In the next couple shots you can clearly see the Falcon and the Falcon ride that will accompany it. Now I’m wondering which building is the cantina in.

One detail that I’ve been wondering is where the entrances will be. As of now there’s one behind Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland, I hope they have a plan figured out because it will be a giant cluster fuck that opening week. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be set on the planet Batuu, “a remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes, but its prominence was bypassed by the rise of hyperspace travel. Now home to those who prefer to stay out of the mainstream, it has become a thriving port for smugglers, rogue traders and adventurers traveling between the frontier and uncharted space. It’s also a convenient safe haven for those intent on avoiding the expanding reach of the First Order.”
