The creators of the ever so popular video game Halo has officially announced Halo: Outpost Discovery. Halo: Outpost Discovery is a 300,000 square foot, traveling amusement park packed with experiences based on the popular sci-fi game series, and it’s set to start touring the US this summer.

Halo is a military science fiction first-person shooter video game franchise developed by 343 Industries- but originally developed by Bungie Studios. The series centers on an interstellar war between humanity and an alliance of aliens known as the Covenant. Fans across the United States now get to experience the Halo universe from a whole new perspective.

The show will land in Orlando, Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston and finally Anaheim between July and September spending only a week in each city.

The amusement park will feature a real-life Halo Ring and a to-scale Warthog vehicle, a laser tag arena, escape room, VR and simulation stations loaded with Halo experiences, and panels to attend. One of the biggest attractions, The Hall of History, where you immerse yourself in the achievements and tribulations of humanity through motion graphics, artifacts, and tangible visuals pulled directly from Halo. Also there will esports and kid-friendly activities as well. The whole event is being planned in partnership with Dollywood operator Herschend Live.

Orlando, July 5 – 7
Philadelphia, July 19 – 21
Chicago, August 2 – 4
Houston, August 16 – 18
Anaheim, August 30 – September 1
