This year Star Wars and Lego will celebrate 20 years of building the Star Wars galaxy brick by brick. Lego is set to release five 20th anniversary sets featuring ships from the i Saga. Each set will include a 20th anniversary collectible minifigure of a character from the original trilogy. Lego says the sets will be released later on this year. But now you can get a preview of the sets with the descriptions below.

75262 Imperial Dropship – 20th Anniversary Edition

The first set is the Imperial Dropship. It has been updated from its original release in 2008. The set includes the same minifigures – a Shadow Trooper and three Stormtroopers. The Dropship is a simple build with nice details. This set will sell for $19.99.

75258 Anakin’s Podracer – 20th Anniversary Edition

This next set to be brought back is Anakin’s Podracer. The great thing about this set is that you will not have Jar Jar Binks helping you put it together. Lego increased the piece count on this set giving you a more detailed looking podracer. You will get young Anakin and Padme for the minifigures. The price for this set will be $29.99.

75261 Clone Scout Walker – 20th Anniversary Edition

The Clone Scout Walker has also been updated from the orinigal set. It has more than double the pieces from the original set and comes with additional minifigures. Instead of the one Clonetrooper that came in the 2005 set, you now get a Spider Droid, a Kashyyyk Trooper and a Battle Droid.

75259 Snowspeeder – 20th Anniversary Edition

Lego

The next set is the 20th Anniversary Snowspeeder. Now you can help defend Echo Base with this remake of the 1999 Lego set. You will get Luke Skywalker, the ill-fated Dak Ralter, and a Rebel Trooper to help with the Battle of Hoth. This Set will cost $39.99.

75243 Slave I – 20th Anniversary Edition

The final set is the one I’m most excited about. At just over 1000 pieces, Lego is giving us another chance to own Slave 1. That’s right; the best bounty hunter in the galaxy, Boba Fett. is back. In addition to Han Solo we will also get some of Fett’s bounty hunter friends, 4-LOM and Zuckuss. This will be the first minifigure release of Zuckuss. This set will cost $119.99.

So there you go fellow Star Wars Brickheads. Five new Lego sets that will keep more than a few of us busy for a little while. If you get bored waiting for these sets, however, you can always build a Porg.
