Are you a Star Wars fan? Then at some point in your life you have assuredly used a wrapping paper tube as a lightsaber. (Want a more realistic version? Click HERE.) George Lucas first introduced us to the iconic laser sword way back in 1977. Since then the weapon has become synonymous with Star Wars…. Almost as much as as the words “May the Force be with you.” Through the course of three movie trilogies, The Clone Wars and Rebels animated series, and now The Mandalorian, there are few corners of Star Wars in which the weapon hasn’t appeared. With Star Wars: The Lightsaber Collection, you can see and learn all about the sabers to appear throughout the franchise.

Lucasfilm Publishing announced the new visual guide at Comic-Con@Home last week. The official starwars.com website now offers some detail into what the book will hold for Star Wars Fans:

Star Wars: The Lightsaber Collection will allow you to explore the legendary lightsabers found within the Star Wars galaxy, featuring fan-favorite hilts from the Skywalker saga, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, comics, novels, and video games. The book will give fans a closer look at the fine craftsmanship of hilts, including Ben Solo’s Jedi lightsaber and Ezra Bridger’s blaster-saber hybrid, as well as behind-the-scenes details on their designs, and brief bios on the characters who carried them.

The must-have guide will also include the hilts from characters such as Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Kylo Ren, Rey, Ahsoka Tano, and many more, including the mysterious Darksaber of Mandalore and a never-before-seen new lightsaber from The High Republic.

Not mentioned above is the incredible spread featuring the curved hilts Asajj Ventress carried throughout The Clone Wars. Of course, what lightsaber collection would be complete without Mace Windu’s “Bad Mother****er?” That’s there, too.
