At long last, the Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train anime film finally has an English release date. We’ve been waiting a long time for this. But at last, now we can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Aniplex and Funimation have officially announced the North America release date for the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train anime film. The film will launch in theaters in North America on April 23, 2021. Said film will be available in both English sub and English dub. That means you can enjoy either listening to the Japanese voice cast, or the equally as talented English voice actors playing the roles of Tanjiro and co..
Demon Slayer: Mugen Train will be 117 minutes long, so be prepared for a long ride in theaters. The anime film is also rated R, surprisingly. So if you’re a kid who’s been dying to watch this, well, better luck next time. Unless you can successfully pass as 17, that is. Or, you know, you can get your parents to watch with you.

But that’s not all. Aniplex and Funimation also officially announced that Demon Slayer: Mugen Train will be available for digital download on June 22, 2021. You can download the anime film from Apple TV, Microsoft Store, Vudu, Google Play, PlayStation Store, and Amazon. Preorders will begin on April 26, 2021 on Apple TV, Microsoft Store, and PlayStation Store. No word on when the actual physical copies of the film for DVD/Blu-ray/4K will be available though.
