For those who tuned into Capcom’s E3′ Livestream and for those who are Resident Evil Village owners. Well… there was some good and bad news. The good news is that the next expansion is still in development and will continue the story. The bad news is that the studio didn’t give any details for its plans and when it’s coming out.
Capcom has revealed that the “development just started” for the DLC expansion. Tsuyoshi Kanda, producer of Resident Evil Village also mention that players will have something to look forward to. The game’s player-versus-player, deathmatch multiplayer mode (Resident Evil RE: Verse) will feature characters from the franchise and bioweapons and should be coming out for some point in July.
This mode is in celebration of the franchise’s 25th anniversary. It will feature fan-favorite characters such as; Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Nemesis, Hunk, Chris Redfield, Ada Wong, and Jack Baker.
