The “made for” Netflix Spanish-Thriller Teen Drama, Elite has dropped the long-awaited season 4. Good thing too, because the show is better than ever. Yes, I said that. I know you’re probably thinking, “How? Season 3 wrapped everything up so nicely?” But, guys, they did it!

Elite tells the story of young, super hot high school teens in Madrid who go to Las Encinitas, a fictional elite secondary school. The show revolves around the messy relationships between three working-class students enrolled at the school through scholarships and their wealthy classmates.

Season 3’s mystery wrapped up after the accidental murder of Polo is revealed and ruled a suicide. Cayetana turns down the offer from Polo’s parents to pay her tuition. Instead, she accepts a job as a school janitor in order to stay enrolled. Samuel, Guzman, Ander, and Rebeka return to repeat their final year with newcomer Omar, who has now enrolled as a full-time student.

Season Four Of Elite Brings Even More Mystery

This would not be a season of Elite if we didn’t start with a mystery. Season 4 begins with the arrival of a new principal and his children – Ari, Mencia and Patrick. As well as, a new mystery after Ari is found close to death. The story unfolds with two separate timelines, with many beautiful transitions that help keep every clean and clear with zero confusion. Season 4 continues down its sex-positive train with representation all over the sexual spectrum even showing one of the boys using a condom for sex which we don’t see often enough.

You may feel that the series doesn’t need any more characters, but honestly, the addition of Ari, Mencia, and Patrick is incredibly refreshing. They bring new energy, fun storylines, and plenty of drama along with them. As well as being much more developed as characters vs additions in past seasons like Yeray and Malick.

Overall, Season 4 of Elite is strong and ever, and it lets its fanbase know exactly why they’ve already been renewed for season 5! Will you be watching?? Let us know!
