Gotham Knights won’t release until next year, but luckily we don’t have to wait that long for a peek at the RPG.
The teaser dropped on the Gotham Knights Twitter account. It shows off the four playable characters in the game: Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Hood. They appear in a purple-lit Gotham street… And if you look closely, you’ll see a familiar shape reflected on the ground in front of them.
The tweet reads “Your Legacy Begins Now. Step Into the Knight.”
Admittedly, in terms of teasers, this one doesn’t give us a lot to go off of; We don’t have any look at the gameplay. But hopefully, it’s a sign that more insight into Gotham Knights is on the way. With Gotham Knights slated to feature at DC FanDome in October, hopefully fans will see even more to get excited about then.

Batman is dead. A new expansive, criminal underworld has swept the streets of Gotham City. It is now up to the Batman Family; Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin; to protect Gotham, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations, you must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save the streets from descent into chaos.
Gotham Knights is an open-world, action RPG set in the most dynamic and interactive Gotham City yet. In either solo-play or with one other hero, patrol Gotham’s five distinct boroughs and drop in on criminal activity wherever you find it.
