The wheel of time turns… and so does this new trailer from Prime Video.

The first “true” trailer for the platform’s adaptation of Wheel of Time packs quite the punch. We get a real feel for both the plot and the dialogue in the series here. But watching the trailer is also an experience in itself.

Prime Video partnered with YouTube to make the trailer a 360-degree experience. So, you can watch the trailer head-on like you would any other. Or, you can navigate around outside the bounds of the trailer footage for a bonus experience. Check it out for yourself below:

Using YouTube’s 360 player and spatial audio surround sound, fans can spin the trailer like—well, like a wheel. Moving to the left of the traditional trailer bounds will show Moiraine’s “One Power” channeling. You’ll see lighter swirls of energy, accompanied by Moiraine’s (Rosamund Pike) voice, as words, artifacts, and symbols appear and disappear into the swirling ether. Look to the right instead, and you’ll find a darker energy; the corruption of the Dark One representing a descent into madness.

To get the full effect, you’ll probably need to watch this Wheel of Time trailer a few times. (You can hear the main audio at all times, but obviously while you’re scrolling around the mystical energy areas, you’re not looking at the series footage.)

The Wheel of Time adapts the best-selling fantasy novels of the same name by Robert Jordan. The series premieres on Prime Video November 19. Three episodes will drop that day, with new episodes airing weekly afterwards.
