It looks like Gal Gadot will whistle while she works her way into her next project! In a report from Deadline, Gadot is in final negotiations with Walt Disney Studios to portray the Evil Queen opposite Rachel Zegler in the Live-Adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Disney is no stranger to Live-Action versions of their films. However, Snow White has a special place in the studio’s heart. Walt Disney Studios released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1938. It’s the inaugural film for the studio and was nominated for multiple Academy Awards.

According to Deadline’s insider, the Live-Adaptation of the film will expand upon the original story as well as the music. And Walt Disney Studios isn’t taking this job lightly. Taking on the giant role of music will be Oscar Winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the men behind the music of La La Land, The Greatest Showman, and Dear Evan Hanson. This update can’t be just any old music. And according to Deadline’s insider, the executives are excited with what the duo has come up with so far.

Gadot will be joining the ranks of other A-List Actors who have played iconic Disney villains like Angelina Jolie (Maleficent – Maleficent), Cate Blanchett (Lady Tremaine – Cinderella), Glenn Close and Emma Stone (Cruella De vil – 101 Dalmatians/Cruella), Luke Evans (Gaston – Beauty and the Beast), and Jason Scott Lee (Bori Khan – Mulan).
