The Undertaker’s long and storied career will finally be enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame. In an announcement earlier this morning, the WWE made it clear that The Undertaker is the highlighted entry to the 2022 Hall of Fame class.

The ceremony has been confirmed for Friday, April 1 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. It’ll also stream live on Peacock and the WWE Network. In a new turn, WWE also confirmed that Smackdown and the Hall of Fame ceremony will air live on the same night from the same venue. Fans who want to brave both shows can buy 2 for 1 tickets that go on sale this Tuesday, February 22 at 8 am PT through Ticketmaster.

As for who’ll induct The Undertaker, there are plenty of options. Vince McMahon would be a solid choice, Triple H could be another great inductor, but our money is on his “in storyline” brother, Kane doing the honors. We’ll have to see if The Undertaker breaks character for the induction ceremony. He didn’t break character when Paul Bearer was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Undertaker is making an appearance on NBC’s Weekend TODAY show on Saturday morning to talk about his induction.
