If your favorite shows are on The CW, we have bad news. The network just announced a massive wave of series cancellations. 

In total, six shows received the axe. The cancellations include:

  • The 4400, ending after one season
  • Charmed, ending with season 4
  • Dynasty, ending with season 5
  • DC’s Naomi, ending after one season
  • In the Dark, ending with season 4
  • Roswell, New Mexico, ending with season 4

This brings the CW’s list of canceled shows up to eight; the network previously announced DCTV shows Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow would not return.

While unconfirmed by the network at this time, the large number of cancellations is likely due to the fact that Warner Media is reportedly looking to sell The CW. (Apparently, it has literally never been profitable.)

Though the future of The CW remains uncertain, the network previously announced renewals for several shows. These include All American, The Flash, Kung Fu, Nancy Drew, Riverdale, Superman & Lois, and Walker.
