Star Wars Celebration is upon us, but even before the panels for Episode 9 and The Mandalorian have happened, some information about Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order had leaked online by way of a Reddit post.

Now, these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. But if these are true, then this game will be completely different to Battlefront 2.

Connected To Star Wars Canon

One of notes in the leaks is that the game will be connected to canon. This doesn’t seem like a big surprised since both Battlefront games are also connected to the larger Star Wars Extended Universe and Star Wars Canon.

The game is featuring Order 66 and will take place after the events of Episode 3, so for it to be in canon is crucial. It will also help to expand the story of Order 66 as well.

The Fallen Order Game Story

This leak did reveal that the game’s story will be allowing players to travel planet to planet in a semi-open world. So, every time a player unlocks a new area, they will need to explore that area to move the narrative along. The Fallen Order players will also be having a backpack droid with them. Think of this droid like Chopper, R2-D2, or even BB-8.

Asthetic Of The Game

The aesthetic of the game sounds like it will be similar to both Rogue One and Solo: A Star Wars Story. It will also have some of the flare the prequels had, too. The game will be a single-player only game. And it’s going to be built in the Unreal Engine. The time to complete it will be longer than five hours.

Finally, this game will be a mix of Uncharted, Jedi Knight, and Force Unleashed. If you have played any of those games, then you will probably enjoy this one.

First Fallen Order Poster

The first key art/key poster had been leaked out on Reddit as well.

This poster isn’t showing much, but it is an interesting piece of art for the game. The panel for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is this Saturday at Star Wars Celebration, so we should be finding out what is store for the game.
