With what seemed to be the death of Jim Hopper in season 3 of Netflix’s Stranger Things, many fans were left speechless. Well that was until they watched the post-credits scene a got a little surprise. What looked to be a Russian prison, we see prison guards feed a prisoner to a Demogorgon. But when they were picking the prisoner that was going to be dinner, one of the guards said “not the American”. So, now fans are hoping that the “American” is Hopper and can not wait for Season 4 to possibly let us know if he is alive or dead.

Stranger Things Season 4 filming soon?

Well ,while we still don’t have a date yet on the official season 4 premiere, it looks as if the cast of Stranger Things is about to start work here soon. According to Murphy’s Multiverse and a tease from Millie Bobby Brown on Instagram, (see picture below) Stranger Things will start filming later this month or sometime in February. But what is interesting in all this, it looks like they are going to start filming in Lithuania and not in their usual location of Atlanta.

Here is what Murphy’s Multiverse had to say about Stranger Things filming in Lithuanian:

“Fans will immediately theorize that the Lithuanian setting offers the series the opportunity to authentically explore the ramifications of last season’s reveal that Hopper was alive and in what appeared to be a Russian prison. While it’s unclear exactly how long the series will film in Lithuania, they will primarily be using a prison set and filming in and around the locations where HBO filmed Chernobyl”.

So, is Hopper Alive?

I know, I know, we won’t officially know until Stranger Things season 4 hits later this year. But we are not the only ones that want to know. If you remember last year during an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers David Harbour (Jim Hopper) Face Timed the Duffer Brothers to ask them if he was dead in the show.
