Batman Beyond: The Complete Series Deluxe Limited Edition Blu-ray box set has now dropped to an all-low price of $61 on Amazon. Get it while it’s still at that price, if you want.

Batman Beyond stuff to infinity and beyond!
AKA: Batman Beyond: The Everything You Could Ever Want Edition

Neo-Gotham Lives Again!

The Batman cyberpunk nostalgia is strong in this one.

Yes, the classic Batman Beyond animated series now has a complete Blu-ray box set. 2 of them, in fact. There’s the Standard Edition, and the Deluxe Limited Edition. Let’s start with the former first. The Standard Edition, known simply as Batman Beyond: The Complete Series, is on sale on Amazon for only $41.09. This edition has all 3 remastered seasons of Batman Beyond, 52 episodes in total, on Blu-ray and digital. The box set also comes with numerous special features, including the remastered full length feature film Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. Seriously, this is one of the best Batman movies ever. That alone makes it worth the purchase.

Terry, do you not see the giant green face behind you?!

And now for Batman Beyond: The Complete Series Deluxe Limited Edition, or as I like to call it: the Everything You Could Ever Want Edition. This version not only contains everything in the Standard Edition, but also 4 pieces of artwork and a Batman Beyond Funko Pop bobblehead toy! That’s right, now you too can own an adorable chibi figurine of Terry McGinnis in his high tech Batsuit. The figurine even has an adorable little scowl on it, just like the real thing!

How could you say “No” to that cute scowl?

All of this costs a whopping $60.99 on Amazon, but considering that this is 39% off of the normal price, it’s actually pretty cheap.

A Word of Warning

Note that the Batman Beyond box set didn’t remaster all of the episodes . Time apparently damaged the physical copies of 11 episodes to the point where they couldn’t be remastered. They include “Eyewitness,” “Final Cut,” “The Last Resort,” “Armory,” “Sneak Peek,” “The Eggbaby,” “Zeta,” “Plague,” “April Moon,” “Sentries of the Lost Cosmos” and “Speak No Evil”. Instead, these episodes were “Smart Rezzed”. This process apparently sacrifices horizontal lines to get clearer images and colors. Note that I haven’t personally seen these episodes. I’ve only heard that the differences in quality between the remastered episodes and the Smart Rezzed episodes are pretty minor.

It’s a shame that time damaged these 11 episodes beyond repair. We can only hope that someone finds undamaged episodes sometime in the future.

Conclusion

Batman Beyond now has complete Blu-ray box sets, and the Everything You Could Ever Want Edition is only $60.99 on Amazon. Considering the adorable chibi figure that comes with it though, it might be worth the money. In the end, it’s your choice.
