The meltdown. Continental drift. Asteroids. And now, the Lost World. The Ice Age crew are back for another world-changing adventure. (One where once again, their prehistoric lives are on the line.)

This time, opossum brothers Crash and Eddie take center stage. When the duo venture out on their own, they end up tumbling through the Earth and landing in the Lost World. With the help of the adventurous weasel Buck Wild (and some of their old friends, too), they’ll go head-to-head with the dinos to save the Lost World.

The new animated feature will debut on Disney+. (Disney previously acquired Blue Sky Studios, the animation house responsible for the Ice Age franchise.) Here’s the official description of the movie from Disney+:

The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild continues the hilarious escapades of the beloved sub-zero heroes from the wildly successful global Ice Age franchise as they create more prehistoric pandemonium. Eager for a little independence, the thrill-seeking possum brothers Crash and Eddie set out to find a place of their own, but quickly find themselves trapped beneath the ice in a massive cave inhabited by dinosaurs. They are rescued by the one-eyed, adventure-loving weasel Buck Wild, and together, with the help of some new friends, embark on a mission to save the Lost World from dinosaur domination.

This film features the voices of Simon Pegg, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Justina Machado, Vincent Tong, and Aaron Harris. It marks the sixth installment in the successful animated franchise. The previous entries include Ice Age (2002), Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006), Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009), Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012), and Ice Age: Collision Course (2016).

The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild premieres on Disney+ January 28. You can also stream the other movies in the franchise on the platform.
