Ahsoka Tano is one of the biggest characters to come out of the modern wave of Star Wars properties. According to ScreenRant and SlashFilm, the fan favorite character from The Clone Wars will be portrayed by Rosario Dawson. Only seen so far and heard in Rise of Skywalker, this now puts the character in the second season of The Mandalorian.
Rosario Dawson has been courting this role for awhile now. It makes sense that Ahsoka would make her live-action debut on The Mandalorian. Dave Filoni, the creator of Clone Wars and other Star Wars properties is a producer, writer, and director on The Mandalorian. Dawson was a fan-favorite choice for the role ever since 2017.
Now we don’t know what version or even if Tano will be a major character. The Mando left off with Moff Gideon crashing his fighter and breaking out with the Darksaber. As for the rest of the show or what is going on, everything at Disney and the set has been quiet.
