Holy multiverse Batman!

Today is DC Fandome and the panel for the upcoming Flash solo film has just concluded. The panel featured Barry Allen himself, Ezra Miller, director Andy Muschietti, producer Barbara Muschietti, and writer Christina Hodson.

The panel was structured very frantically, much like The Flash himself, and was a loose discussion of what to expect from the upcoming film. Hodson and Muschietti discussed elements of the story and Barry’s character, while teasing the appearance of different Batmen. Miller also confirmed that the film will play with the multiverse, which was teased in the previous “Multiverse 101” panel.

As the panel wrapped, director Andy Muschietti shared concept art of Barry Allen’s new suit.

He also showed concept art of Barry fighting with Batman. But this wasn’t Ben Affleck.

That is Michael Keaton suited up in the original Batman suit from 1989! This confirms that he will appear in the film. It was long rumored that he may just appear as Bruce Wayne, but this image shows him fully in combat as Batman.

The still untitled Flash film is set to release in 2022. What did you think of the panel? Are you excited for The Flash movie? Let us know in the comments!
