The Dark metal masters, Cradle of Filth are all the way up to lucky number thirteen. Thirteen albums, that is. While we don’t know many details about the album, we do know that the band added a new keyboard player/backing vocalist for this recording and the future. Existence Is Futile is due later this year from producer Scott Atkins and Nuclear Blast Records. Frontman Dani Filth had this to say.

The stunning new album is everything you can expect from the many shades of black that go to discolor a CRADLE OF FILTH release and far, far, worse.

In addition to this news, the band has a rescheduled live-stream from the St. Mary’s Church in Colchester. It’s been postponed to May 12th due to the pandemic circumstances. That just means we’ll have a little more hype going into the live-stream from the band.

You can order tickets for the stream and VIP packages here. The upcoming album was recorded at the same place as their last album, Cryptorania – The Seductiveness of Decay. The Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, UK is home to more of the great dark and dreary metal you’ve grown to love from Cradle of Filth.
