Lately, when we see Mark Hamill’s name in a headline it is for some of his tweets and responses on Twitter. Well, today that is going to change up a little. In a report from The Hollywood Reporter, it seems that Mark Hamill will be teaming up with comedian Bert Kreischer in a project called The Machine. The Machine will be an adaptation of the viral story that Kreischer told about getting involved with the Russian Mob while abroad in college.

The Machine

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film that is described as the Hangover meets Midnight run is inspired by the 2016 story that Kreischer told in one of his stand-up acts. Here is what The Hollywood Reporter had to say:

“Kreischer’s 2016 story has been viewed more than 85 million times. The film is inspired by the stand-up routine and sees the events of the story catch up with the comedian 20 years later as he and his father (Hamill) get kidnapped by those Kreischer wronged during his first trip. The film is described as The Hangover meets Midnight Run and will film and Serbia. Kreischer and Judi Marmel are producing”.

This is still developing news and we will have more details when released.
