The Flash from director Andy Muschietti is already in production. He teased the old/new Batman suit for Michael Keaton last week, and now it’s time for The Flash. Ezra Miller is reprising the role for the upcoming solo film. If you take a closer look at this new suit, you can see it’s pretty different from the one he wore in Justice League.

This new suit has circuitry and wiring surrounding the lightning symbol in the middle. If that’s any indication, we could be in for some even more impressive Flash powers in this film. In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, he used his power to revive Superman and also turn back time to save the world from Steppenwolf. The film is loosely adapting the Flashpoint storyline from DC comics.

In that storyline, Barry Allen goes back in time to save his mother, but ends up creating a strange offshoot timeline. We seem to be heading in a direction for DC where a multi-verse is in the cards. So we could have one universe where all the Justice League characters exist and then others where characters like Matt Reeves’s The Batman exist. We’ll have to see when we get closer to the release date for The Flash. It releases in theaters November 4th, 2022.
