It is not every day that I write about something now pertaining to the pop culture world. But when something this big (Ok something this fun) comes along I could not pass it up. You see not only am I a pop culture fan I also love sports, and as a sports fan, there is nothing more exciting than a well-played competitive game. Well, wait I guess there is something a little more exciting, and that is 24 straight hours of watching some of the most unique sports in the world on ESPN8: The Ocho. That’s right The Ocho is back, and with sports like Cow Chip Championships to a Sterns Heads-Up Pinball Invitational, there is going to be something on The Ocho for you to enjoy. Here is the official announcement from ESPN:
ESPN 8: The Ocho Returns
Friday, Aug. 6, will mark the return of ESPN8: The Ocho, transforming ESPN2 into the No. 1 destination for distinguishable sporting events. With everything from cow chip championships to cornhole, ESPN8 will feature 24 hours of unique programming, including fan favorites and newcomers. Throughout the week, leading up to the main event, there will be ESPN8: The Ocho preview days (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) that will give fans a taste of what is to come.

Those that are familiar with ESPN8 The Ocho already know there are some fun and interesting sporting events to watch. For those that are not sure what to expect here are a few of the events that will be heading your way.
